We are an independent, family run workshop working out of Biggleswade, supplying and fitting granite and quartz worktops for Oxford on a regular basis. The Passion for Granite Guarantee
Granite needs resealing roughly once a year to stop oil, wine and general kitchen life leaving marks, it's a five minute job with the right sealant. Quartz doesn't need sealing at all, warm soapy water and a soft cloth keeps it looking new for years. For busy kitchens or commercial spaces where the surface gets more daily use, quartz is often the easier option to live with long term, though plenty of our customers still choose granite purely because they prefer how it looks. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners on both granite and quartz, they can dull the finish over time.
